Colombianite, also known as Piedra Rayo, which is an ancient form of  Obsidian. The name Piedra Rayo translates to “Lightning Stone ''.  It was estimated that Colombianite  are about 30 million years old. It has been noted that it is extremely unique for any type of Obsidian to be that old. There are a few known locations in regions of Colombia that you can find Colombianite coming from areas of Cauca.

Colombianite has been known to assist one to raise his/her vibrations and connection to higher consciousness.
